Before the arrival of my son, my husband and I went through a hard time in our lives: we had difficulty conceiving, not to mention my multiple miscarriages. With a great sense of loss and the realization that I may never be able to conceive, I adopted my "first son", a Coton de Tuléar that I named 'Liku', meaning 'calm waters' in the Fijian dialect. But soon after we welcomed this new member into our family, I fell pregnant with my "second" son. And so my precious Liku became a symbol of hope for my family and I.
LIKU is a brand that is "made by mom". We at Madebymom Inc. care deeply about all the moms and precious little ones around the world, and we believe it is our duty to develop quality products for good prices. We promise to be vigilant our use of safe materials and to constantly challenge ourselves to be environmentally aware. Furthermore, we at Madebymom Inc. are committed to doing our part in helping families around the world by donating 10% of profits to international children's aid organizations. We sincerely hope to make our world a little better each day.
